Street magic isn’t any different to any other kind of magic, except that it’s often up close and personal with the spectators. You’d think that this would make it easier for them to see your sleight of hand etc, but in actual fact it makes it easier for you to do things stealthily. It’s much easier to use misdirection when you are close up and distract people from seeing what you are really doing.

This next video shows you an example of what a proper street magic performance looks like. There is no revelation at the end on how the trick was done or anything like that, just watch how the performer acts and take some tips from that.
